Countdown to Turkey Day!

We have less than a week to go before Thanksgiving is upon us and we're counting down the hours!

This year, we are celebrating T-Day with Gretchen's family at our home in Los Angeles. For the first time in a very long time (if ever) the Kinney clan will be together at one table: Gretchen's Mom and Dad, Gretchen's sisters Annie, Sonja, and Kirsten and their respective partners William and Carlton, and Gretchen's nieces Angelina, Logan, Ginger, and Kira. Add a wolf dog, Kris, and Leif into the mix and we're going to have one very crowded apartment.
Should make for an interesting TV sitcom....anyone have a web cam?


Not only will this be the largest crowd that Gretchen has cooked for, but the menu must be dairy and wheat/gluten free to satisfy the allergens of some Kinney members. Hopeful, if not delusional, Gretchen has the following menu planned:

Minnesota Wild Rice Sausage Sage Dressing
Baked Sweet Potatoes with Apricots and Bourbon Maple Glazed Assorted Carrots
Garlic Green Beans with Manchego Cheese (on the side)
Baked Cranberry-Ginger Chutney

Chocolate Ancho Chili Flourless Cake
Pumpkin Pie (contains dairy)
